Service Contracts

Equipment readiness is a significant responsibility. PEI's customizable service contract is designed to minimize the work involved in managing the task of having you power system or power systems operation-ready 24 / 7.

We can create a customized service contract for each of your power systems so that you don't carry unneeded coverage for one system because you need it for another system.

Preventive Maintenance Coverage

Probably the most important coverage you can have. Preventive maintenance is a must, and, unless you have an expert on-site who knows your system, you will pay a higher hourly labor rate and have to keep track of all aspects of maintenance documentation and scheduling for preventive maintenance. Simply put, preventive maintenance prevents repairs.

We customize preventive maintenance plans based on the system you have, the skill level of the staff you have on hand, and your budget. We can train skilled technicians and engineers on your site some of the basic maintenance, and can develop a plan for our trained experts to do the rest.

Emergency Coverage (24/7)

With or without a contract, PEI will respond to emergency service needs on a 24/7 basis within the continental United States. We will give you, on hearing from you, an expected response time, typically within hours. Having an Emergency Coverage Contract will reduce the time it takes to begin work – the paperwork is already done, and no financial surety is required from you.

Reliability and expertise: Many companies promise a fast response time, but response time is meaningless if the field representative isn’t adequately trained or if the parts needed have to be ordered. PEI focuses on having the best mean time to repair in the industry.

Parts Coverage

Additional coverage plans to cover parts are available. We can customize what is covered to fit your needs and budget.

We can also build a customized "Spare Parts Cache" which is based on the known life-cycle of parts for your system, and can be further customized based on the skill level of your staff in doing minor maintenance. This cache is left on site for use in the event a part has reached the end of its life cycle. But if a cache is not in your budget, don't worry. PEI has a massive stock of parts and can get what you need.

Battery Coverage

Battery replacement is inevitable. A single dead battery can disrupt the performance of a power system. Regular servicing ensures care that extends a battery's life and that dying batteries are monitored and removed before they become a hazard to the operation of your system. A Battery Coverage contract means that any batteries found to be defective or at the end of their life cycle are usually replaced within 24 hours.
